I don’t usually photograph weddings but when Morgan asked me to photograph her wedding ceremony and take a few formal shots after, I couldn’t turn it down. It sounded so quaint and intimate, with just the bride and groom and their immediate families. Her wedding was held at the Florida State University College of Law on a beautiful, sunny evening in May. There were about 30 guests and it was such a sweet ceremony. I’m so honored they asked me to photograph it. I had a hard time narrowing down images for the blog post, so here are 20 that I felt told the story of the day.

I love the way Morgan and Rich are grinning at each other here, right at the beginning of the ceremony. Another thing I loved is that Morgan’s childhood friend became ordained so he could perform the ceremony.

Instead of a reception, Morgan and Rich took their guests out to dinner, and we had about 15 minutes to take formal portraits before they had to leave. I love how their happiness and love shines through in the images of them together.
