This sweet family drove two hours just for our session, which incidentally, was the first time either boy had had portraits taken. The parents specifically requested a “location with a tractor, if possible,” so we headed out to my dad’s hunting property in Havana for this session. It was almost 100 degrees and bugs were everywhere, but the boys were troopers and we were able to have a lot of fun. Joel is 5 and about to start kindergarten, and his brother Grayson just turned 18 months.

We saw three baby alligators, and Joel’s dad, who knows more about gators than I do, said they weren’t more than 2 weeks old. We didn’t see the mama, but I’m sure she was lurking around somewhere!
