I got to photograph these two adorable sisters the other day as a surprise Mother’s Day gift for their mom. Annsley is 8, although as she informed me, “Eight is practically ten, you know!” Annsley is a great big sister and you can tell Amelia wants to be just like her. Amelia is four and kept me cracking up. I got to photograph 4 year olds two days in a row with these sisters and then two brothers, and I think four is one of my favorite ages. Everything they say is just funny.
Tickle fight!

Amelia has this thing about being carried. She wants everyone to carry her everywhere, and she’s too cute to say no. Annsley was carrying her from one are of the park to another and I had her pause for this shot.
How sweet is this sister moment? What can’t you see in the photo? They are bonding over a bug they found (and wanted to take home with them). They also insisted on a few photographs with the bug.
I had two little budding photographers on my hands during this session. Annsley especially loved the camera and kept asking to take shots with my DSLR. I helped her take a couple and then remembered I had my point and shoot in my camera bag. Both girls could have happily taken pictures all evening — girls after my own heart for sure!
