I first met Sarah when I was looking for someone to do my hair and makeup for my wedding and a friend recommended Athena Salon. Sarah did an amazing job and I haven’t used anyone else since, except when she was on maternity leave. (Sarah does an amazing job with eyebrows if anyone in Tallahassee is looking for someone! If you ever see me with overgrown eyebrows, it’s totally my fault for not going into the salon often enough.) Anyway, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Sarah over the last few years and was so excited when she and her husband, Michael, found out they were expecting Alexa.
I was even more excited when we set up this session and I got to meet Alexa in person after hearing all about her for the last six months. We wanted to wait to schedule until Alexa was sitting and she started sitting just a few days before our session. I had so much fun with this family — Sarah and Michael are so much fun, and Alexa is the most cooperative, laid back six month old I’ve ever met. She was content to do anything we wanted, whether it was playing with the flowers or modeling monkey hats. : )
Sarah and Michael, thanks so much for letting me photograph your little girl. She is a doll and I can’t wait to see her again!
