Hi, and thanks for visiting my blog! This is where I share recent sessions as well as occasional promotions throughout the year. I am so lucky to have a job where I get to do what I love every day. I specialize in newborns and babies and also love to photograph maternity, children, and families.

I am a Tallahassee, FL native and FSU graduate. Besides photography, I love to read, travel with my husband, play with my 2 dogs (both rescues), and spend time with my family, who I am lucky to have close by.

I posted some studio portraits of Maggie a few posts ago, and mentioned that we originally intended to photograph her session outdoors and had to change our plans due to rain. We were able to get together several weeks later for a quick reshoot, and here are a few photos from her outdoor session. I love the flowers in bloom in the background and am so glad we were able to get some outdoor Spring photos for her family.
Anna Sophia just graduated from my baby plan and I am going to miss photographing her every few months! Usually my baby planners schedule their last session around the baby’s first birthday, but Anna’s parents wanted to wait a few months until the weather was warmer to do an outside Spring session, and it worked out perfectly — the weather was beautiful.
This little cutie is one of my baby planners, and we scheduled her session for a gorgeous Spring day last month. It stayed gorgeous until early afternoon, when the sky started getting darker and darker. It got sunny again right before her session time, so we decided to chance it, and of course, as soon as we got to the location, the skies opened up. We ended up heading to my studio for a mini session indoors and met a few weeks later to get some outdoor shots as well. I don’t shoot a lot of babies in the studio once they are past the newborn stage and first few months, but I love the way these turned out, and it definitely makes me want to use the studio more!
I have been waiting to photograph Miss Olivia for a long time — I was already booked and sadly couldn’t take her newborn portraits, so I was so excited when her mom contacted me about having portraits taken before Mother’s Day. She came by the studio for a quick mini session and we got so many cute images that I had a hard time choosing which ones to blog. Olivia is so cute and fun at 7 months and I look forward to photographing her again in the future!

This little girl is as cute as she can be — I love all her dark hair! Her parents brought her into the studio for her four month session and we had so much fun! She fell asleep halfway through the session and we were able to get a couple of really sweet sleeping photos as well as the happy, laughing, awake photos. I photographed her 8 month session around Christmas time and it’s hard to believe it’s almost time for her 12 month session! Time flies by!
